We're slowly moving through our grief at losing our boy, time is healing

Our "Cooking Comrades" group got together and made Asian Style one Saturday night. Everything was so delicious!

We hit up our annual Cub Game and it was at Angel Stadium this year, so way closer!
Some friends wanted to try out an event called Bingo Loco one night, so we bought tickets and made a night of it. It was at one of my favorite theaters - the Fox Theater in Pomona. The event was....well...interesting. It did have a lot of potential, and if they could tighten up the show, add another host and just have a better producer/director to oversee it - I think it could be great! We did have a good time, but it got kind of draggy and then somewhat weird, so we left before it was over. But def a fun adventure and got some good stories. LOL!

One afternoon we headed way up to North LA to have lunch with Alex and Elysse! Got to meet some kitties, see their very cool loft and Elysse made us a yummy lunch!

Labor Day Weekend we hit up Libby's pool then had a lovely dinner at Coris!
So August has been up and down. Having good days and bad days dealing with grief, but filled the month with some wonderful memories!
