A fun Multi Cache...

I wanted to blog about this specific multi cache because it was really cool!

It took place at Craig Park in Fullerton which I just love.  We actually ended up doing it in two separate days because when we started it we didn't realize how involved it was.  So the 1st day was in October and the 2nd day was New Years Day and earned me the New Years Day Souvenir!

Your 1st stop was this telephone pole that's disguised as a tree.  I never knew about these but learned all about them on this adventure.  They're called MonoPine's.  Here's an interesting article about them if your interested - Poles

That's a Monopine!

We then punch in puzzle answer and we were off to the 2nd location.  Now - we just did the one on day one because we were just enjoying the park a little too long.

Pelicans!

Such a gorgeous Oct day

So New Year's Day we headed back.  The only unfortunate thing was it's been raining alot, and we didn't realize how muddy Craig Park can get, so we ended up getting pretty damn dirty!

2nd local landed us at one of the baseball fields.  Punched in that puzzle answer and we got the coordinates to the final cache!

Ducks do what they want

Some pretties along the way...

Poe will always find a stick to carry

Now the final stop where the cache was ended up being super tricky.  Our original route was trekking us through so much mud.  We then realized we actually couldn't get to where the final spot was.  But I saw another way around so back we went and up the hill and across the dam.

We spent forever looking.  The hints told us it was somewhere high because you needed a tall person.  So I went looking for possible spots to send Pat too.

On a mission

I didn't spot it but sent Pat back up and he found it!  Yay!!!  We were really going to be disappointed if we didn't find this one after all the work we put in.

Success!!!

Really fun couple of days.  I love these little adventures we find ourselves on and Poe loves when we go geocaching!
