Museum of Ice Cream...

So I had heard of this Museum of Ice Cream and thought "How friggin cool!!"  But in my usual not on top of anything like this, it was sold out.  Le Sigh.

Some time later my friend Taylor text me asking if I want to go.  They had released some tix and he was in the waiting room ready to buy!  YAY!!!  I'm so happy I have friends who seem to have their finger on the button of these things. So our scheduled time was Friday the 7th at 7pm.  Woot!

I was slightly dreading driving up in rush hour on a Friday to LA but we sailed up with no problem.  Traffic Gods were totally on our side.

It was in the LA industrial arts district and since we arrived super early we yelped a great wine bar right around the corner called PourHaus Wine Bar,  Wine Bar?  Hell to the yes.  If you folks ever find yourself in this area - hit this place up!  Great food, great wine and great service!!!

Afterwards we valeted and went on our ice cream adventure!  The art installation was set up in a warehouse and you went from room to room in groups.  Each room had a different ice cream themed installation and in some rooms you got treats!  So much fun and totally worth the $30 ticket price.  We got fun pictures and had a great time!!

Walking up
The 1st room was pretty much an intro with a peppy guy who laid out the rules, etc.

Dude loved his job
Then we headed into this super pink room with phones.  You listen to a little fun thing about the history of Ice Cream and fun tidbits by Seth Rogen!!

After this was a SoCal themed ice cream room.  Super cute and we got out 1st ice cream!

Pink!

All the stars had ice cream themed versions of their names

Ice cream!

So good, I couldn't eat all of it (Not supposed to have dairy) but I got a little!
Next up was the banana room!  So rad!!

Banana Buds

Next room was the mint room!  The mint plants were growing in cacao shells.  The gal said this helps get the scent of chocolate into the mint plants.  We also got to sample some mint chocolate chip mochi!

This room reminded me of mom!

Taylor getting creative

After this was a room with a free try at a claw game which I honestly don't think anyone actually got something!  LOL.

Waiting to play a game

For the Viking
Around the corner was a fun wall display and then this boomerang thing you can make.  So Taylor suggested the sunglasses move.

I want these shoes!

After this was a super cool art installation of melting Popsicles!  The artist put his Insta on one of the stems and I'm following him now!  So awesome!

Next up the gummy bear room!  So beautiful and colorful!  And you of course got some gummy bears! Yum!

Gummy Bears!!!
The next installation was super cool.  The gal said the artist came all the way from Italy just to do this piece.  Loved it!  She also gave us little cones with a charcoal cookie dough.  Very interesting.  This is also what turned our tongues blue.

Life Happens
Then came the Sprinkle Pool. This is what you'll see most people posting pictures of.  It's a swimming pool filled with plastic sprinkles.  So random and so fun!

Our group was a bit smaller than this one.  Everyone was super cool

So many sprinkles!

Loved this float!!

Last stop was the end of the road.  A large room with another boomerang which I picked our silliness, a ping pong table, a few more cool ice cream things, another sample and of course the gift shop!

Ice Cream Sammich Swing!!!

This gal made us an ice cream breakfast sandwich

It actually wasn't very good...

We had a super fun time and if they release more ticket I say go and have a blast!  We sure did!!
