November Photo Dump...

So this has been a rather difficult month. Between the election, health issues, Poe is now apparently epileptic, etc.  I am ready to see this month gone.  So see ya Nov - but below was the good of it - and there was a nice amount for sure!

Started November off right with a wonderful walk around Oso Creek Park.  Noel and I had checked it out earlier this year, but didn't get too far due to the heat.  Cori and I went on the 1st day of November and had a lovely time walking around.

Was supposed to be some sort of optical illusion, but didn't see it.  Very pretty though!

What our world needs right now

Poe got up here on his own.  I think he's used to be putting him up on things to take pictures!  LOL

The hedge maze!

Finally made it to Harry's to shoot pool with Libby, Pat and Glen.  I suppose after much nagging me I had to finally go.

Had a lovely brunch with Jen & Maria at Santo Remedio.  It was cool, but a bit too loud for my taste.  Def a place to come to for a celebration though!

I wanted to take a pic in front of this, but probably would get yelled at for standing on the booth!

It's been awhile since Taylor and I had some one on one time, so we had dinner one night at Cauldron Bar that is such a fun spot and has yummy food!

Got to see my friend April after way too dang long!  She had never met Poe!

Food portion:

Saki Sangrias!

Pat made a new dish - braised chix with sweet potatoes!  So yummy and perfect for Autumn!

Shrimp Scampi Pasta

Chicken Arrabbiata

Steak Saltado

After our shit show election I had a much needed brunch with Julie.  We meet monthly, but this one was extra raw so we stepped it up a bit and had a lovely brunch down in Newport.  Just what we both needed.

I really need to get down here more often

Scallops with Ponzu and some sort of ridiculous cream.  SO GOOD!

Been craving oysters and these did not disappoint!

Love the reflection on the water

My light

Pat's nephew Isaiah was in town, so Jeanne had an early Thanksgiving!  Sadly no one took pictures!  Ugh - I need to be better at remembering, but I did get one of the boys playing ping pong.

My favorite days of the month always include our pick up day in Temecula.  Pat, Poe & I headed down on a Tuesday - had breakfast at SouthCoast Winery then hit up Europa for our pick up and Wiens for a tasting!

Poe loves Pick Up Days

We had a really great Supper Club this month - a Thanksgiving theme of sorts.  Pat had this deconstructed Turkey recipe he wanted to try.  It was fantastic.  The girls all made delicious dishes as well and as usual, it was a night of laughter, good food and great friends!

The chef de-boning the Turkey

One of the two Turkey dishes Pat did.  So good!

Tianna made the best creamed corn ever!

Pat giving Jules some tips

Delicious!

So although this month was a bit rough, we had some wonderful memories to look back on.  Onto the Holiday Rush!
