Tis the Season for Halloween in Summertime!
Taylor got he & I VIP tickets for the whole weekend for
Midsummer Scream! For my mom's birthday I got her a one day pass for Saturday (Unfortunately they don't sell VIP One Day Passes). Taylor is also working a lot more for Knotts - so I lost him around 2pm on Sunday to work but my friend Amber was there Sunday so it all worked out!
Saturday morning, bright and early, Mom/Taylor and I rolled in. It's a lot more popular now, and we noticed right off. There was already a line to get into the Parking Structure I like to park in. ACK! After a bit of an anxiety ridden entry - we parked, checked in and headed across the parking lot to brunch at Auld Dubliner.

VIP are let in at 10am. GA let in at 11am. The hard lesson mom learned was now that everyone has learned of Midsummer it wasn't as easy getting in. Last year she pretty much came in right behind us. Well this year I was getting texts from her, not happy, as she was in Line 6 of many lines. I wanted to go out to her, but she insisted I don't - as long as I had something cold for her when she got in. I believe she will be getting VIP tickets for next year. Hmmmm maybe my brother and I can split a birthday or Xmas presie for her....

I only hit one panel this year - Sunday with Amber. We saw
Christine McConnell! The whole group was an absolute delight! I saw one episode of this show, but now need to go back and finish it!! A benefit of VIP is I get to get into the panel before GA - so I got to save Amber a seat right up front!

And then of course wandering the vendor section is always a highlight! I got myself 2 new Halloween shirts, some notecards and some adorable prints. I wanted to buy so much more!!!! I did get the boyfriend a rad Halloween shirt (Now he finally has one) and his little a super cute kitty skirt.
